Get a jumpstart on the much-anticipated Aion 1.9 patch! NCsoft has just announced that the first part of the update will be released on live servers today.

To lighten the load, 1.9 will go on incremental patching mode before the patch goes live on June 2. Your built-in NCsoft launcher will take care of this for you, as the patch will be subjected to automatic detection and download.

Now take note that even if you have finished downloading the full patch over the next few days, you will have to wait until the official release date to experience the changes.

For months 7,8, 10 and 11, items in the form of 5 Recovery Crystals, 5 Revival Stones and 1 Major Ancient Crown will be given while an additional Expand Warehouse Ticket will be awarded for month 9.

The launch issue, to be published March 26, has over 100 pages and also comes with pre-order benefits such as a special pair of wings, white or black dyes, a pilot hat and more, depending on the subscription plan you choose.
